Some 1/4 times from tonight. DA around 2000-2200. I find it odd that as my 60ft decreased my ET increased. The car is pretty much consistently running 12.6 with the pp3. I think an aftermarket tune would really benefit the manifold though. I'm going to keep running it as is for the rest of the season but next year I will probably get the car tuned. I still think I will run a low 12 by the end of the year but the DA is going to have to be really low and everything is going to have to be perfect.

Just an update. I started the car up this morning, pulled out and didn't get any rev hang. Around mid-day, I did notice IAT a few degrees higher than stock but no big deal. Overall, I'm extremely happy with PP2 :D

So? Pp2 or pp3
I'd say PP2 for all around usage and PP3 for more track/drag usage because PP2 has more low end torque gains while PP3 gets more peak horsepower.

Has anyone found a good fitting prefilter to put on the pp2 air filter?

I have noticed some water stains on the filter and it has me worried.

Not that it really matters, I ran with an 03 Terminator and a 16' Scat Pack. The Scat Pack was in the mirror and I was pulling the Terminator.

Disclaimer: Termi is stock with cold jlt air intake. Fresh tune up with 11k on the clock.

Thank you. No I've been scanning through the thread and it's quite long and I've yet to come across why does the powerpack three have so much less low-end torque, I thought that torque was horse power times gears divided by something? So I guess I'm one of the impression that more horse power means more torque

HP = Torque * RPM / 5252

Anyone having water getting through their hood scoop and into their air intake after doing their PP2 install?

Based on LMR's charts, PP3 still makes significantly more torque down low over stock and more than PP2 in most parts of the power band.

It was determined earlier in the thread that very little water will get into the intake box even when spraying it directly.

LMR never posted a graph showing a proper overlay between stock and PP3. If you look at the one they post the crossover between hp/tq is not at 5252rpm so it is not properly aligned to compare. They did post a proper one for the PP2 though which showed the gain in HP and torque at all RPM's

Checkout my post #3112 on page 208. I overlaid the LMR pp2/pp3 dyno plots.

The two calibrations are roughly equivalent from 3600-6300 rpm. PP3 is generating more power/torque above 6300 as expected, but it is ALSO generating more power/torque from 2000-3600 according to these curves.

Of course it does that at the added expense of $1500 or so. PP2 is certainly the better value unless you are using for track days, etc.
