I'd expect 2015 GT to weigh very similar to 370, and Mustang will have probably 70kw more. It's not really surprising why Mustang will do better over a 1/4 or over a lap.

I'm no track scientist, but if I had to choose between the nismo z and a stock '15 or even '14 gt, i'd choose the gt every time.

The top end power will always topple the z's v6

I'm more interested in the eventual '15 gt vs '15 m4.

I know when the 5.0 came out recently they did a comparison, (i think it was automobile magazine) and the gt was pretty close performance wise.

I personally love my 350Z, but am not in love with the 370Z, plus I now need extra seats for my kids. I hope the new Mustang feels as good as my 350. If so, I will likely be a first time Mustang owner once the GT350 (or similar) version arrives. Looking forward to some naturally aspirated V8 goodness.

I almost bought a 350Z (my first Z car was a 1990 GS non-turbo) - loved the styling and the handling feel on the street. I do like the 370Z too. I'd love to add either of these cars to my collection, should funds and space someday allow it! Heck, I'd even buy another 1990-96 Z car, but with the twin turbo engine. Fun times autocrossing in that Z!
