How to recognize the 2017 from the 2011-2014 version of the throttle body? How would I explain it to a friend? Thanks!
The 2011-2014 has a more "squared" plastic electronics housing while the 2015+ has a more "rounded" plastic electronics housing.

Still looking for a source for the intake tube fittings for the breather hose quick connectors. The ones on the oem tube are glued in. Anybody know where they might be available? Maybe aftermarket spare parts for cold air intake?

Found the connections and sweet customer service, I emailed Airaid to ask if I could buy them and they sent me both!! I just need to find grommets and get the pipe (on order).
I'm getting closer, the weather will screw me up I'm sure.... This has been a great thread, thanks to everyone!

I took my GT TB setup off and went back to stock (considering trading in on a GT), and I can definitely tell a difference in throttle response. I got to feel how the Sport+ mode feels with the stock TB setup. It does help, but its definitely more pronounced with the GT TB.

Any chance you could share what intake tube and couplers + the breather connections?

Also looking for a source for the Airaid style fitting and grommets. I have the carbon fiber pipe from Fordguy550 and would like to insert the stock system into the pipe. It is just too bad Airaid didn't make an intake pipe for the v6.

My V6 is getting traded in tonight, someone will be getting a pristine car with almost no miles for good price. I will miss my V6. :brokenheart:

I now have a full GT TB conversion kit for sale. It looks very professional and certainly does improve the feel of the V6. You'll need to reuse some of your clamps. I'll let it go for $180 shipped.

Just to respond, the fittings Airaid sent me are aluminum freebies and I just bought a 3.50 tube from frozenboost.com (best prices I ever saw) and a silicone reducer 3.750 to 3.50 a couple clamps. Its a 90Âş tube polished nicely.
I haven't had weather I like to start fitting it all together but I hope its very much like soldier989 has done.

Happy to reply to any other questions.

Curious to see if anyone has decided that this is not a good change, its gone pretty quiet.
Its still winter here so I'm on hold for now.
Any changes or complaints?
