I'm sorry if this has already been addressed. I tried using the phrase S197 but it led to a boundless tag list and I didn't find my answer.

Feel free to reprimand me if it's warranted.

My question is twofold.

Will the 18x8s fit the 2019 base model GT?
Basically will they clear those big ass brake calipers up front?

I'm assuming the TPMS sensors will need to be swapped over from my stockers to the others.

And secondly. Will I need spacers, or basically how bad if at all will they sink in?

I don't mind the factory stance.
But I've already checked the usual sites and abhor the wheel selection.

I want something simple.
The bullitt wheels only come 19 or 20, and I don't want that either.

But I found a clean set of 2010s locally for $100 and it got me thinking it'd be a very inexpensive way to do a nice cosmetic upgrade.
Could swap the tires, sensors and be all set.

I appreciate any input.

Also if the 18x8 route is not advisable, what about 18x9s from the 05-14 cars in general?

Plenty of nice options to choose from.

Again thank you very much.

I think any tire/rim on non pp w/base GT brakes 18x8 Mustang 2005+ will fit. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I sold my base GT rims to a guy with a 2013 V6 and they fit fine.
