Hey I just recently got an alignment done on my 2015 mustang gt with 69k miles after getting new wheels and tires put on it, the only weird thing i have on it is the springs for the front and rear are off of a 2019 pp mustang gt everything else is stock and original to the car. Ive visually inspected the front left suspension and cant find anything worn or bent or out of place, any ideas on why the camber would be so far off?

Not end of world for road car, but would bug me

Inspect everything, measure ride height—maybe you have a torqued bushing from the spring install throwing off ride height?

shift the subframe to equalize.

Or just throw a crash bolt In there

Measure it again. Either Hunter system, or you can go DIY method.
Okay I can try that this weekend, do you think the paper from the shop is wrong?

I'll go through it again and measure, I thought about putting camber bolts in but I didn't want to if I didn't have to

I don't know. I would get a "second opinion" before wrenching on anything. If it comes up with close to the same number, then you can decide how to proceed. If it comes close to the passenger side, then maybe the first time was a fluke.

If you go the DIY route, you can spend even less time at your own house, and repeat whenever you like. Check my series on these methods:

The way I initially did it before getting a guage, I would hang a string with a couple OZ of sinker on it next to the wheel, so the string hung perfectly straight down across the center/face of the wheel. I would then measure the distance at the top of the wheel lip at the top and bottom.

Then I would do the maths to figure out the camber angle. Unrelated, I remember in high school when I never thought I would use geometry again LOL

Similar to this method pictured here. But both assume the floor is level left/right.
The method I referred to in my post# 6 does not require a level floor.

Sort of, the main difference being I measure to the wheel lip, not the tire face. Too many imperfections or raised/recessed surfaces on tires.

Yes, even better. That could be done with the framing square, too.
But the 6' level and magnetic angle gauge is even better and doesn't require a level floor.
