I just know one of them is going to pee on the other one! Just got the ZL1 on Friday and I love it. It will fit into my garage nicely! I can't wait to break it in and open her up!

Initial observations:

1) Ride/suspension is awesome. For all those folks that say it's too harsh, they must just be used to a cushy ride as it's no harsher than the GT350 in track mode and my Ford RS in track mode is actually harsher.

2) Rear visibility is zero, all I can see is a giant wing....but I love it!

3) It sounds great, but not better than the GT350 at WOT. :D

Regards

Congrats! I think people say the 1LE has the really stiff suspension.

Great looking ZL1 and I am sure they will get along just fine!

Looking forward to some feedback as to how they compare once you get to open up the ZL1 as it is a very fast car to say the least?

In recent times I also had an addition to the herd as well (this car has been on order for a long time) and didn't know how the herd would react to another R in the stable and in this case a different Type of R but everything worked out just fine with all quite content with each other.

Hard to believe that a Civic can reach a top end speed of ~170 MPH along with incredible handling from a front wheel drive vehicle that is hard to comprehend.

Good luck going forward and will watch for future feedback on your new addition to the fold.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Harry, just damn. I tried to order one here in Lexington but all 3 allocations were taken by two dealership workers. I pulled up in the R there to inquire about ordering a Type R and they said I didn’t need one cause I already had a “better” R.

I saw another Type R yesterday while out with the R and I could read his mouth when I slowly went by... “There’s a 350 R!”

Nice pair of awesome rides, OP!

Too funny Fred and certainly the GT350R's are intimidating to the Type R crowd and rightly so!

As far as an every day car it is hard to beat a Type R and can't say enough about the bang for the buck.

Back in 1992 I was able to purchase the first Acura Integra GSR that came to Canada so have been a closet Honda/Acura enthusiast ever since thus the Type R.

If you are serious about a Type R give me a call and can maybe help you out as just after I had just taken delivery of this Rallye Red car when I got a call from a local dealership asking me if I wanted a Championship White car and declined based on my car already in the garage.

I understand that they have another Type R on order and can give you the contact information if you are still interested.

Hmm. Dayum. I should have taken a closer look at the photos and not be in such a hurry. Still, very nice! Again, congrats...

Looking forward to a picture of your 2019 Bullitt and have a daughter living down under.

What color did you go with?

;)

Our Bullitt specs aren't confirmed yet but the export cars usually miss the center gauge pack, the underhood strut bar, a few horsepower, and get a 3.55:1 diff in lieu of the 3.73:1.

However, the cars that come here are otherwise full spec and will include the Electronics Package and Magneride (only Recaro's are optional).

Ford USA don't trust us with black Bullitts, we only get the green :)

Green seems the best color to me from a purist standpoint but certainly Black would look great as well.

When spending time in Sydney and of course at some Ford dealerships I noticed that all Mustangs coming to Australia do not come with the sequential turn signals?

Is there a law down under preventing sequential turn signals?

There is an ADR (Australian Design Rule) that stipulates that turn signals must be amber. That's why we don't have the all red tail/brake lights assemblies. The same ADR also refers to flash rates and light intensity and without digging too much into the legalese, I'd guess this part of the regulation kills the sequential function.

That said, the aftermarket has stepped in and half of all Mustangs I see on the roads now have sequential indicators :)
