Interestingly, the Ford engineer at the Track Tour said the car is faster at the strip with the rain tray installed.
Obviously it’s faster without the splitter wickers and gurney flap, as they mentioned, but then added it’s faster on PS4s and with the rain tray installed. Which I questioned but they said yes to the tray and PS4s.

For dragstrip, he may be correct. Unfortunately, i dont yet have a lot of dragstrip data due to them all being closed.
On the road however, aided benefit of actual cooling amd airflow, have proven to be real, especially on back to back to back pulls; At least in my modified application

Well, I think the magnets are a go. They grab and hold the rain tray very well. Installation and removal is a breeze.

I have a non painted rain tray that I am going to put some magnets on as well. i will test drive with it in place, incase it doesn't stay, so i don't ruin the painted one. I can't be positive, but I would like to think the air current under the hood is going to help hold the rain tray in place, not pull it off, but we shall see.

My intention was to not drive with this in place, but to use it when washing the car, or showing the car. I do however want to know if it will hold while driving.

The magnets & VHB double sided dots are rated to 300º

I plan to get it ceramic coated and possibly get the paint corrected depending how many swirl marks I see.
Evan: No worries, any competent ceramic outfit will absolutely, positively do paint correction before applying the coating. The price is reflective of all that work, the coating application is relatively easy just time-consuming. So, watch out for "good deals." Only go with a well-known and well-respected provider.

Nothing major, but I had this plaque made for the radiator cover, or anywhere else I may wanna put it..... It may not show in the picture, but its a brushed aluminum piece.

Jaime: Did he have the new snake drawing or did you have to supply it?
He had it because the GT350 uses it too. As a matter of fact, that's why the title says its for GT350. I just asked him to change 350 to 500.

Is the snake emblem rectangle/square area on top of the supercharger part of the casting or something stuck on the top? And will/can it come off easy? How is it attached? I sure this would be obvious if i just had my car.....
