Well my BORLA exhaust arrived yesterday, but likely will be 2-3 weeks before i can get it installed, waiting on new rear valance so i can do at the same time. Man the X/H pipe whatever Borla calls it sure is sexy. Surely they didn't go to all that trouble and it not be proven....IDK looks cool

I planned on buying this setup for my car, and installing it when I get it back from Shelby. I have talked with some people there, and I may get that system installed at Shelby, but with Shelby tips on it. I am very much looking forward to hearing your opinion on how it sounds.

Jaime: I don't have the packaging and the invoice isn't much help.

The site is outerwears dot com

My invoice says:

20-1097-03 30.45
WRRD 7 1/2-5 TAPER, 8 TALL W/TOP

In the list after Ford, you'll see "Mustang Shelby"

but there isn't one for the 20 MY. I measured mine as per their instructions and learned that it was a 7 1/2" x 5" which most of those on that page are as well so I think any of them with those dimensions will work. At least that's what I ordered.
Thanks buddy

Thanks Jaime. Well, I wasted no time installing the coil covers. Had to remove the JLT CAI on the left side and the oil separator on the right side but these were fairly easy things to do. Unfortunately, most of the cover under the oil separator is hidden but the other side shows a little more. I knew this going in that they would not be exposed all that much and you could say it was a waste of money to do this but I like it and it ties in the body color a bit better.

I picked up a JLT oil catch when I got my FPB cam covers to make the passenger side more visible. I’m not sure if I will keep it installed to go back to the Ford catch. It’s what I do, change my mind and waste my money lol.

Like you, I think it’s worth it in the end, even if it’s 90% covered. It’s there and you know it, even when the hoods closed, but it makes you feel good.

You so funny, Jaime!

Mark: I think they look great and all you needed was a little blue to shine through to match the caps. Perfect, show me impressed.

VOODOO what are your thoughts on interchillers? I have thought about the ice tanks but the 'theory' behind interchillers and there claims are pretty solid, just cant understand the drawback....is the execution? technology not there yet?

I put those little foam JLT rock channel blockers in before giving the car to my PPF, barely noticeable and mostly tight fit. Even if one falls out they're so cheap.

I had to drive in the rain and on wet roads one or two times and that whole area was filthy in the air tunnel thing. Ordered them immediately.

I lost one of my jlt rock channel blockers at Charlotte Motor Speedway. They work great however at 150+ I guess they have there limitations.
