Oh, I missed this post. I am not surprised, they do this kind of thing to keep the masses from buying them and making faux GT500s.

I wish owners could use their VIN to prove ownership, and buy any part needed for our cars. I get Ford's attempt, but it sucks for owners.
Ya but, those of us that bought ‘08-‘09 GT500KR’s found out that this approach comes with a big “Shelby Tax”. The parts are available (after you validate ownership), but expensive....

Glad you got a set too. CJ’s install video for the automatic pedal set doesn’t tell you much. Look at their Install video that shows the three pedal version (clutch, brake, and gas pedal). It’s much more useful to show how the pedals are installed.
You will find the brake pedal requires you to drill 4 holes. Not too difficult if you start small and go bigger. I found the top right screw will go into its hole without the nut as it jams up against the pedal mount. Not a problem.
I did watch that video. I was wondering if Bill actually hurt his hand doing the install, so they edited it with someone else doing the work, and him doing the VoiceOver haha.

Bill might be a bit “challenged” to get in there to do the install.... My back still hurts.
Might be wise to remove the driver’s seat to make it easier.

I’m short, but my COVID 20 might once again hinder my once gumby like agility :giggle:

But seriously, I will put my car on the lift and raise it to the height where I can keep my feet on the ground, and lean in to do the drilling.

Jaime, sure do like your magnetic rain tray install. It looks like it will work just fine and even easier than my quarter turn fasteners. I agree with you in that I don't drive with it on either and only use if for when washing the car. I may just change mine over to magnets.

For those of you interested in pedals....I am on the fence about pedals in general but found that https://www.srpracing.com/ has some nice pedals. And here is video of them installing with a gas pedal spacer that i never new existed or was needed?

Don’t need to buy that spacer. Just get a few nylon spacers at Lowes for a $1.
I did this on my GT350 to improve heel-toe actions. The larger pedal helps too. But I still suck at it.
This small mod helps on a GT350. Zero need to do this on a GT500.

I was actually thinking the exact same thing.

I wish. It's a development piece.
