Looking to get these wheels but wanted to ask around to see what you guys thought would be the best tire fit for this wheel. Thanks in advance!

on that size rim you can probably run a 275 or 285 squared set up. 35-40 series sidewall depending on your taste.

If I ran a say a 245/40 or 245/35 would the stretch be pretty bad or do you think I could get away with that size? I honestly don't know much shit about tires/wheels

Go 275/40-19. Car will handle much better and is one of the best handling upgrades you can do as long as you use good rubber like Michelin pilot super sports, Mickey Thompsons, continental DW's etc. don't go cheap on tires.

I was thinking with going with the Hankook v12 evo2's

I had the older version of that tire on my STi. I don't have an opinion of that tire. I can say that the MPSS wins just about every tire review for high performance tires. They also have a tread warranty which most tires don't. They are expensive but well worth it when you have a tread warranty and the fact they perform better than any other tire out there (excluding the sport cup 2.)

The only problem is that I am not the type of guy who has all the money in the world to spend on tires and parts in general. I try to go for the best of the affordable. I hear great things about the v12's. I'll keep doing research though for sure.

I wouldn't go any narrower than 255/40 or 255/45 on 9.5" wide wheels . . . or any wider than 275/40. 245/40 would be a legit size, but is a pretty short tire compared to OE, and 245/35 would be worse still. 285/40 is also do-able, but I don't see much point in putting a big tire on a wheel width that's basically not letting you get at all of what that size tire could give you.

My 3-season tire setup, not intended for track time, is currently 265/40-18 MPSS on 18x9.5 and has been working out quite well for general street duty. The 1" diameter difference from my 18's to your 19's would not change things.

I have 275/35 20 square and they fit perfect, so 19" wheels with 275/35 should not be an issue and then you can rotate them.
