I’m using the original PP1 tire It’s a 275/40/19.. Think it needs a wider tire? Is the 11 inch rear wheel stretching it to much?

^ What Shogun32 said. As far as the aspec of the tire, it is rated for that size wheel. Are you just worried about the overall look of the wheel and tire combo? Pics?

Thanks for your input. Beastar- I think that’s it, I’m not sure why it just doesn’t look right to me. Then again I’m used to the PP1 wheels that were on it. Let me know if these wheel pics help. I will have it lowered soon and don’t mind the dirt, she is getting a paint correction next week.

yea there's a bit of stretch for sure, but it's not obscene and the tire will work just fine.

As shogun said, it's perfectly fine and safe...but seems like a waste. You're spending alot of money on wider heavier wheels to not have any of the extra tire contact patch over someone with a 9.5" wheel.

Looks like a slightly wider tire might work up front as well. Maybe move those up front and get something a little wider in the back.

I actually came to this forum today because I'm finally getting close to pulling the trigger on a new set of wheels and tires myself. I'm leaning toward a square 19×10 set with either 275/40 or 285/35. I couldn't see putting 275s on 19×11.

I run 325 on the back with the 19x11 wheels. 305 fits about perfect, but the tire I wanted did not come in a 305, only 325. Still fits well. 285 on the front with the 19x10 is perfect.

that front sounds custom. excellent choice IMO. What's the clearance to the strut?

Plenty of room from strut to tire. This was a set that was is in stock, got it for a good deal and jumped on it. I think I may move to a wider tire in the rear though. Thanks for the feedback.

Hey Cobra,

You can definitely go wider in the front and rear. It'll give the tire a most "square" look instead of being round. But that being said, the Forgestars came out great! Send me some pictures later so I can post on our Instagram! Thanks.

Would a 305/30/19 look odd? Much better tire selection and lower cost than a 305/35/19
