So after checking numerous tires sizing threads I think I have the sizing I can run on my setup. I ordered staggered setup of 6gr sevens with 19x11s in the rear. My car does have sportlines on it, I just want to be sure before I order these tires that it is a decent setup. I'm a complete novice when it comes to tire sizing so anyone that can take a quick glance and give me a yes or no would be great :) are there any issues with the tires for the fronts? I had the 555's for the front but the 285s wont ship until november 11th and I just want to get these rims on already they had 275s in stock though if that makes a difference.

What's the offset on the rears and how much lower are the springs?

Those are standard tire sizes, and will fit just fine on a normal height car and proper offset.

Slammed and with the wrong offset in the rear you could be rubbing especially on hard launches.

Project 6gr only gave me these options on their site for the mustang. 35mm for the front and 50mm for the rear. The drop for the sportlines are 1.5" in the front and 1.3" in the rear.

I run that exact wheel & tire setup with Swift lowering springs. You will love it.
I hope so, i'm tired of just spinning these pirellis :fingerscrossed:

Why are you using different tire models front & rear? Are you doing it intentionally for drag use?

I wouldn't daily drive on drag radials, it wears them out faster and the handling on the street is worse with miss matched tires.

not to mention isn't there a (small?) stability issue trying to make drag tires go thru curves? Normal DD I'm sure is fine but...

That was my biggest question, but since the rears are drag radials I didn't want to put those on the fronts especially since with a staggered setup I can't rotate them to the back. I pretty much drive the car only on weekends and its primary purpose for now is just for drag racing. I had the 555's that I could have gone with but the wait time was pretty long, the ones I picked were in stock. I don't have a second set of wheels to swap out yet but the car only sees about 50-80 miles a week and that's just on saturdays and maybe sunday. I read posts on the NT05R and how quickly they wear for daily use but for the most part i drive my commuter car everywhere and the mustang only when I'm going out on the weekends to race. I bought the car in February and have only put about 3,000 miles on it.

that's actually rather decent mileage. If you want to claim 'low use' you have to use the GT350 metric which is like 600 miles per year. 1500 if you just don't care about resale value preservation.

Speaking of different tires front/rear.
I may replace my rear Nitto NT-05 (315/35/20) next year. But my front NT-05’s (275/35/20) are still good to go and have decent turn in when ripping corners. ... what would you recommend for a rear replacement and is it a ‘big deal’ to have different tires front to rear?

no you can mix/match tires and brands just fine. You might have less than ideal results in snow or 1" deep standing water but that's to be expected.

No snow will be seeing this car and rain is rare. Very rare.
I figured the answer was obvious, just checking.

Just an update to this, i did end up ordering these tires on monday. Wednesday the nt05rs were delivered, thursday only one of the fronts showed up. Im just sitting here with 4 new 6gr wheels and 3 tires with no update from summit on where the last one is. ☹
