Is there something in the water, are people going totally bonkers in this COVID environment?

(2) 1993 Fox Mustang SVT Cobras (1 Black, 1 Red) went for $100k…. These are NOT the 1993 Cobra R, these were 2 “standard” 1993 Cobras….

What makes someone pay $60k+ over the current street value of these cars?

I’ve owned many 86-93 Fox 5.0’s - I’ve never seen the market this absolutely F’n nuts with prices being paid and Sellers asking absofnloutley crazy amounts for a Fox Mustang… I mean, hell I could understand it if it were a 1 of the 107 1993 Cobra R’s, but just the basic standard 1993 Cobra, paying $100K??????

What am I missing here?

The stock market was very good overall last year and some had extra dough to spend?
Plus, I'm not sure but, wasn't mecum cancelled last year?

I was wondering the same thing. I had lots of foxbody’s starting in 87, and none of them were very good cars stock. I’m referring to the fred flintstone brakes.

I'm astounded also. I can't fathom paying anywhere near that for any Fox.

By '87 the brakes were *a lot* better than the earlier cars!

Buyers/sellers games maybe?
Group of collectors will jack up prices on a certain car selling back and forth. this get the market in a frenzy. Then collectors unload to rookie at a high price.
Then they step back and reap the profits.
