I am guessing color to be Gold. Similar to 2010 Sunset Metalic Gold.

Yes I saw the mileage on dash and thought that might be a rare one. Enjoy, looks like a nice one.

Awesome to see these photos. Thanks for sharing.

Made me think back to my High School buddy's 1970 Merc Cougar coupe he had running a 351C - 2V. That was a running car for its time. Had an FMX tranny and 3.73 detroit locker in it. We always dreamed of making it a 4V setup but never got around to it. He later obtained a 1970 fully loaded Cougar XR7 convert that he restored. Rebuilt a 351 Boss 4V and dropped in it. Used the coupe as a donor and then sent the remains off to auto heaven.

Back in the early '90s I ran a '70 Cougar with a stout 351C-4V, street and strip (mostly the latter). Had a single-plane Edelbrock with a Holley 3-barrel, nasty Ford Motorsport solid lifter cam, loose converter (C4), and 4.56s in the axle. Ran mid/high 11s. My brother ended up with the engine (still has it in his '70 Fairlane, slightly detuned) when I decided to bump to a big block in the late '90s. Then a buddy made me an offer I couldn't refuse on the rolling chassis and restomodded it, ended up a beautiful car. I should really get it back, it belongs sitting next to my '67 which I've had since 1986.

Ah, the memories.

Based on the thread title I assumed this was going to be a Boss 302.

Why do you call it a Boss Mustang?
