Does it take less time if the plate isnt personalized? I ordered a regular sequential plate that they ship to my house

Yes. Personalized plates are done in batches, and they must be picked up in person. Sequential plates are issued from pre-made stock and are able to be mailed to your home.

So i ordered my plates in january finally got a notice to pick them up about a month or two ago, but since have changed my mind and want to re-do them so i havent picked them. Does anyone know if i have to go the dmv pick them and reorder? Or can i just reorder my new idea, and just leave the ones at the dmv sitting?

I picked mine up at my local AAA office, but ordered them from the DMV. Anytime I can avoid the DMV, I take advantage.

Took mine a week shy of 3 months to arrive! Ordered thru Triple A - went with the Memorial Plates as they match DIB better than the Legacy Plates IMO.

Haha yeah right! I'm currently a MCJROTC Instructor in the lovely city of Hemet...my co-worker commutes from 29 every D A Y! A cadet that graduated last year just finished up at Great Lakes and looks like 29 might be his 1st Duty Station...look forward to meeting you on an upcoming cruise

Good times!! A LT I worked with ran from 29 to San Diego because his wife wouldn't move out of their house, or let him be a geographical bachelor. I went to boot in Great Lakes, corps school in Balboa and Field med at Pendelton.
