My Ford Mustang GT A10 has been a revelation. After one year of ownership I still look back at my car every time I park it. As a German car fanatic I always dreamed about one day owning a new M4 but I could never justify the price. So for half the price I have this amazing 460 hp naturally aspirated muscle car that always puts a smile on my face.

The active exhaust note in track mode is pure bliss. I can’t wait to wake up early on the weekend and drive out to the blue ridge mountains and hit the back country roads.

No Performance modifications...you cannot utilize all of this car’s capabilities from the factory on public roads. I have tinted windows and a set of winter wheels...that’s it. I’ve also had zero reliability issues to date.

For a reduced sticker of $39,000 plus taxes, tags and title there is no competition except the Camaro.

Base 18 pp1 A10. Bought for 34k range discount from 41k. Minor mods; tune, intake, axle back, ported tb. Nothing can touch it for the $ spent. I agree, after 2 years 2 months @ 11k miles one of my favorite cars to date. Cheers!

Haffl,

My 2018, 400a, Premium GT is coming up on 2 years old in November of 2020. Right at 12K miles and I agree with you 100%.

That throaty, pulsating V-8 is pure bliss. Between 4500 and 7400, makes me an adrenaline junkie. This car is my "therapy", and man does it work wonders. You're right, not many safe places you can air it out and let those horses/Mustangs run free.

Mine has been 100% trouble-free, no leaks, squeaks, ticks, nothing. Can't beat it for the price.

you need to try a PP1 with all that rubber removed and feel the connection to the road. :) Plenty noticeable on the street.

USMCGT,

I "assume" you know our 2018's and up are 307 cubic inch?:like:

BYW, that dark gray is a real stunner, nice Mustang.

@Haffl awesome to hear your experiences...this is what it’s all about.
I said similar things about my 2011 GT/Brembo car. I might have kept it if there weren’t such great pandemic deals going on.

The Mustang is a rare car that can be transportation and a source of joy every day...and they’re not just for rich people. I guess that’s why they’ve been making them for 56 years.

it was a 'secretary's car back in the day. Could stand moving the needle that direction a bit, IMO.
Isn’t that why they make the Ecoboost?
No insult intended to EB folks at all. I love the turbo cars and they have tons of potential but they can be easily, efficiently, and comfortably driven by someone who stays out of boost. The GT feels and sounds like a beast and wouldn’t necessarily appeal to this crowd. Meanwhile the EB has style and decent fuel economy too...

Too bad secretary types all drive CUVs now.

I was referring more to the roofline and rear seat accessibility. IOW day to day 'usability'.

I've had my 2019 GT Premium Convertible with PP1 and Magne-Ride for just over a 1 year. The car is a blast with the top down or up....definitely a step up from the new 1965 Mustang Convertible with 289 4V and 4 speed I had back "in the day"! No issues to report...it's a solid, high quality build Mustang.
