creaking rear seats when I go over uneven ground dipping into and out of driveways I have read a few threads but none show where to lubricate I verified it is the seats by driving with the rear seats down and it goes away can anyone tell me where to apply this grease I also have a sprayable version

I think it'd be on the latching mechanism on the back of the seat. The noise could also be coming from the bottom clip being broken too, that's what happened on mine. Try to shake the seat bottom and see if it is loose at all.

Thats a negative just shook it with everything I’ve got and it doesn’t even budge

I had the same issue, sounded like frogs in trunk lol. Its the u-joints/latch points in the first picture, you can see the wear. I just wrapped them in mole skin and its been fine over a year now. There is too much play back there.

Wow who would think that could make such a horrendous noise I’m gonna go and cover mine in grease right now

Yea, i couldnt figure it out for months, but thats what it was. Any uneven surface would make the groan sound. I thought it was the spare rubbing, then i though endlinks binding on the sway. Finally saw the wear on those and that fixed it.

Put a bunch of grease on the frontal section took it for a spin looking for every dip and section I could to make it produce the noise and it’s dead silent I know if it Comes back the mole skin is possibly a more permanent solution thank you so much man it’s been bugging me for over a month now and this gt is my daily talk about frustrating

How many moles are needed? :cwl:

Back to the subject:
Is the noise more like a creaking noise, like say similar to walking on old wooden floors?

Been looking for the source of THAT creak noise since new... checked rear taillight assemblies, rear bumper cover attachments, rear inner fender well liners, rear trunk lift supports, trunk lid mounts, rear spoiler mounts, misc parts/pieces in the trunk and even rear shock mounts....
