I am looking to upgrade to 18"x9" wheels/tires from the stock 18"x8s on my Ecoboost. However, I do not put them on/take off myself. I take them to the tire store and they do it for me (due to disability limitations). However, my concerns are that I will not be able to transfer them to and from inside my Mustang in one go. Right now, I can squeeze all four wheels/tires into the trunk with the rear seats down. One goes in the passenger front seat, too. But, with the extra width I am concerned. Any help? Thanks.

I take 4 19x10 wheels with 285 tires to the track and back in the car. 1 laying flat in the trunk, the other 3 upright side by side in the back seat. Plenty of room for me and another front seat passenger.

Fitting 18x9s should be no issue.

Yeah there are 4 or 5 different ways to stuff tires into a mustang. Easiest (for me) is one in the trunk, two in the backseat, one in the front seat. I’m used to porting 295 or 305 wide tires around. Three in the backseat works too.
