well it’s a risk I’m willing to take I guess. My thought process is if a Gen 3 can go 7’s without them, then I feel better about not having them at 700-750HP. Are they a good idea? Of course. As far as roller, I would hop on turbo Bullett group on FB andwatch for one. You just need a nice roller and buy your Kmember from there and all the supporting mods to make it work. And yea no clutches in the 10R80. At 3000 pounds it should live a good while, especially with as rarely as this car will see a track.
Thanks man . I will start watching !

Are you using a 18+ 10r80 drive shaft (I got a spare one piece one ) ?
is the rear end SRA or IRS (sorry I am a noob )?

Using a 2012 6R80 driveshaft with correct yoke ends, and I’m SRA. Car is minitubbed 8.8”

Usually 10.0’s. Last year during a November track rental at MIR it went 9.88 @ 132. IIRC, that was with a gen 1 truck motor, gt intake cams and an ‘18 intake
Great et for the MPH

yea man car went to the track on the 4.38 pulley and ran a 9.80 @ 148. That’s leaving in 2nd gear and bogging a bit on the launch. Put the 1st gear tune in and next pass ripped an upper torque box from the frame. So now under the knife getting new boxes, ARB, 10 point cage, and more. Staying with same power level/pulley and going to leave in 1st and let it eat once I get back out.

Dayum .
I picked up a fox body roller locally . It’s roughy and going to be a ton of work and I expect $$ .

it will be going to great chassis shop that builds race cars and I will probably have do it in stages as $ permits . It may take while but I think it would be with it in the end .

At least I already have the motor and transmission- coming out of my 18 GT when I swap in the built 5.2 long block/LPF transmission in spring .

Your car was my inspiration and will be following .

Not sure what FI but may use a 2.3 Edelbrock/8 rib I picked up a few years ago or do a cheap TT set up starting with the CX kit since I already have a pair of rebuilt JB precision 55’s .
Hell, I may do both as I will have 2 Gen 3 motors , for this car .
