[?] '18 Intake Manifold on '15-'17

My only "power" modification is the intake manifold. Is that the E85 "race" tune? I have issues getting timing out of any of my Lund calibrations even on E85.

It is. I can't seem to figure out why my MAF lbs/min is so low on the 18 manifold. I was getting 42 lbs/min max on the stock headers with the 18 manifold vs. getting 46 lbs/min on just a PMAS/Catback/Tune combo.

It's not really valuable to look at unless everything is spot on. It's an easy to manipulate value.

Avoid it. Car runs like ass.

However, I've seen very few people running that combo with success. It has to be a tune related thing.

Go for it, using one with mine. Just make sure to go with a tuner that can tune for it.

There is mine for comparison. Getting knock up top as well. Seems to follow the Intake Cam advance. Being that its E85 I am starting to think the car just doesn't like the cam timing on stock exhaust manifolds vs headers.

I'm not entirely sure it is knock causing that as it could be a timing ceiling still left in the calibration. The knock PID is only reporting what the timing strategy is doing and not actually reporting knock events (which is annoying we can't see). Ford's calibrations have several timing ceilings that Lund may have left in place at 7000+. As RPM rises, timing should be advanced, but with Lund's experience on these I'm sure they have a reason to leave the ceiling in place.

just picked up the 18 intake from my buddy to try out for as long as I want. he is not going to be using it anytime soon so its good for me lol cant wait to see what I can do with it.

the couple dyno runs I've seen are showing about 50 wheel over the stock 15-17 mani.

Similar to the stock GT manifold in the midrange.
