18 GT rough idle after SCT tune

I have a 2018 GT Active exhaust with a JLT CAI with the plastic tube. I also have an H pipe installed. After installing the JLT CAI I used my SCT X4 to program the car. I selected 93 octane and JLT CAI (plastic tube). All other settings I left stock. Now the car has a vey slight rough idle and also feel that when I accelerate. Its not very noticeable but I can feel that slight sputter when accelerating. My question is, do I need a more detailed tune (map) since I have an H pipe ? I did this same exact setup on my previous 17 GT and used a different SCT X4 to tune it and never had an issue. This is a different car, a different CAI and a different SCT X4.

Silly question but have you checked to make sure the clamps and such are tight enough on the CAI that you installed?

Is this one of those crap SCT included tunes or a remote tune from a reputable place? That's likely the issue. Sounds to me like the MAF curve is off since the 2018 JLT is 120mm.

Did you use the maf gasket included with the jlt or the factory one?

I don't mind ponying up just as long as the car runs great. I've had it like this for over a week now. Its had plenty of time to learn.

Do a KAM reset and drive it, if it gets better great, if not..... order a tune.

I have an X4 and the mustang tune sucks ass.

Lots of knock and the trans is violent.

I just checke the MAF sensor. I took If off and there is no gasket between it and the plastic tube it bolts into. I checked the Stock intake and there is no gasket there either. Things that make you Hmnn!

What is a KAM reset ?
Since everyone is off in their own little world KAM = Keep Alive Memory. To reset it, disconnect the negative battery terminal for about 30 mins. Reconnect it, and start it up.

the canned tunes are only good enough to turn the engine over and drive around the block. A proper tune is $150 or so. Otherwise shove the reducing collar in there and it'll at least run like a 3-legged race at the carnival. Who buys a tuner and NOT a proper tune?
