The only downside I see to the 18 PP2 is it only comes with that gawd awful MT82. after 2 bad experiences you couldnt get me to own another Ford with that transmission. the 10 speed is phenomenal and makes the PP1 my choice with the options given although a 14 GT500 is a very close second place

I voted to keep the Boss.

You seem to really like Orange/Yellow and the Boss gets you that
You want to stay manual and the Boss gets you that
You want something that has good handling and the Boss gets you that
You want something special for your weekend drives and the Boss gets you that
You want something livable for some road trips and the Boss gets you that (IMO S197 > S550 for this - trunk space and rear seat area/space)

My second vote would actually be the 13-14 GT500, but it is a less balanced car and a bit worse in fuel economy (you can get decent economy out of the Coyote/Roadrunner). However, it is a very, very unique car!

Third would be GT350 only because it is really catered towards a track-type car and, although the S550 is a very comfortable packed, especially with mag-ride, the NVH from the powertrain might get annoying on a road trip (just reflecting on myself if I were in my 50's). With that in mind, if you are concerned about wide tires/wheels (your comment in regards to the PP2) and road annoyances, there is another negative for you. Plus, fuel economy is pretty crappy.

Forth would be a 2019 GT PP1 with A10. Like others have shared, the quality of the MT82 is something I wouldn't want to deal with. You've had your Boss and know the history of that tranny; so there is no question for you there.

+1 for the Boss. To me, the 13/14 cars have the best looking rear end hands down. Want more power? Supercharge it. It handles well already and not having a car payment is nice for other toys. Second for me is GT350. Handles well and you can wind it out a bit further.

Keep boss and if its already paid off, save up and then decide which car to add.

Probably have to do a track day to appreciate the car more. one things for sure, the Boss is easily lighter than and of the cars mentioned.

Look to Roush. I was looking for a few years before I decided on this RS2 with 727 I picked up and will never look back. More power than god needs plus the looks are amazing, black on black with tinted windows and polished silver Roush rims on a premium. Love it!

18/19 GT PP1 6speed all the way. S550 especially the 18s onwards have the best taillights.

Of course if I had the Boss - I'd keep the the Boss. I was in a position like this last year - I wanted a mustang bad. Both the Boss 302 and the GT350 are the reasons I wanted the mustang so bad.

My goal was either a used 13 Boss - or a GT. I figured the GT350 really out of my price range (I'm paying cash)

Then the 18 came out - and that settled it. The 18 PP1 is so close to the 350 - fully loaded - out the door for 40K - I called it a day.

You have a great Mustang - no reason to upgrade it.
