18+ Engine Dress Up and Engine Cover

I know there are several threads out there on this but I saw one look in particular that I wanted to ask about. How would you attach that center engine cover section to the intake on 18+ Coyote GT? Anyone seen a look like this? Do you guys have better ideas?

The point to the cover is to muffle some of the DI clatter.

So understand, you mess with it or remove it, you'll have more/louder DI clatter.

I've heard that it does muffle the sound but have never pulled my cover off to see the difference in sound or how much louder it really is. I know the Bullitt and new Mach 1 has done away with cover.

One of the very first things I did when my '20 GT was delivered to my house was remove the engine cover.

There are 4 push pins on the bottom of the center cover once you trim it.
It just friction fits on.

Thank u for posting these!! Much help! Did u notice any sound difference from the Direct Injection without the cover?

no noticeable increase in sound.
The DI fuel rail and injectors have a dense foam padding over them.
That's what those Bullitt covers are on top of.

I loosened the brace but didn't have to remove it entirely.

I'm done with the matching colors, had an orange engine bay on my 16.
Decided to do contrasting this time.
And, no one has vinyl to match grabber lime.
Picked the color to match the washer reservoir cap.........
