You'll need the manifold as well as either lockouts or the pigtails we offer to help you retain the CMCV.

I would consult with your tuner to see whether they want you locking out or retaining the CMCV.

We have the 18 manifolds in stock along with the lockouts and pigtails so feel free to reach out if you have any other questions in the meantime.

Just picked up a '18+ Intake manifold and Throttle Body for my 2016 GT. I sent it to get ported, the TB will be 91mm. I'm getting the car dyno tuned on Tuesday and I'll be posting the dyno sheets to a thread once I have them. I would just consult with your tuner as to IMRC lockouts (mine told me to lock them out. I had the lockout hardware but I've seen some ppl drill and zip tie to save some $$$)

Other than the manifold you'll need a set of lockouts to keep the runners open if your tuner wants them locked out. I can help out with the manifold with or without the lockouts and even ported.

Feel Free to DM me or call with any questions.

Team Lethal has them in stock ready to ship any configuration you'd like however I would delete the runners for sure. They don't really help as much as people think. Hit us up and we can get you taken care of. Lethalperformance.com

I might get a used 18+ intake manifold later this week. I am in Canada, which tuner is willing to remote tune for new intake. I would buy a SCT X4 as well. I also have a 18+ air intake that I would install along with the manifold.

Or do any tuners have OTS tunes for this setup?

Currently I have a PP1 tune

Run the lockouts if you want a cleaner, simpler install. Run the CMCV pigtails if you want vacuum lines running all over the place and the potential to throw CEL's. Running an E85R tune, there is no "power loss" down low one bit.

If you plan on going forced induction one day, you will want to be locked out regardless.

Lund does a great job tuning if you can get your hands on an Nguage. I received the tune in a day or two and had my shop load it as soon as they put on the mods although I have a GT350 manifold and CAI with the 87mm throttle body.

The car is engineered around the CMCV's. keep them it is only a simple changing of parameters to make them work.

If you like a slight stumble on tip in lock them out.

Fricken eh. Can't get much cleaner than this. Got rid of all that vacuum BS haha.

I have zero stumble/hesitation with the IMRC locked out. VCT tweeking takes care of it.

Any difference between the throttle body of 15-17 or 18+?
Any reason to run the 18+?
Intake I might buy comes with the TB

The connection is different. That's all. You'll want to re-use your 15-17 TB. The 18 manifold angles up slightly so certain air intakes may not fit quite the same. I'm running the 18 stock air intake with an Airaid tube designed for the 18 model.

There is a loss on the low end, any dyno sheet out there will agree. That being said the top end gain certainly makes up for it.
Definitely use a reputable tuner or start reading now and tune on your own with HP tuners. It’s not as simple as disabling the IMRC logic if you lock out. Plenty of people who paid for a tune driving around with a low load/low rpm misfire because the car is still referencing mapped points that rely on IMRC functionality.

If you are paying someone to tune, I would highly recommend going E85 or a flex tune at the same time. That will do a whole lot more for your GT than the intake.

I already have a stock 18+ air intake assembly sitting in my garage, so that will be going on as well if/when I make the switch to the 18+ intake manifold. But got it, I keep my 15-17 TB. Thanks!
