16 to 18 Mustang Sync 3.0 to 3.4?

Has anyone seen a problem with the 20021 version where songs on a USB drive cannot be advanced with steering wheel controls? It was mentioned on the F150 forum as well as an issue after the vehicle is started where the USB music resumes but the display doesn't match.

have u done a master system reset? if so and problem persist, i recommend downgrading to 19200, or 19101, theyre by far way mores stable.

Yes, there is a separate website for maps. Depending on your MY they will either be free or there will be a charge. You'll know when you put your VIN & ESN in. Right now you can only get 1.18 officially.

I am interested in the NA 1 19 maps that are included in the 3.4 update on the Cyan Labs web page. I already have the NA 1 18 maps from Ford.

I am quite happy with version 3.0 of Sync and i see enough issues with 3.4 that i am not ready to risk the full 3.4 update to get the 19 maps.

2- Does the AA guidance in cluster center screen work on the Sync3 conversion cars?

No, I meant the 4” screen to 8” sync3 conversion...Not originally equipped Sync3 cars

I upgraded to 20021 version, I did notice a slight improvement over the 19274. the splash screen used to twitch/skip on animations when it was on 19274. But now all the animation play smoothly and it transitions into sync3 UI much nicer.

I see. if everything else works as it should, then the center cluster AA guidance should work too.

Updated tonight 3.0 - 3.4 using that guide. Only did the 19101 build. Might up to 19274-but not sure what gets updated.

I mainly did it so I can get Google Maps directions in android auto onto the dash.

Not the google maps maps, but the google maps 'directions', yes. Just have to use google maps and not Waze and it works. Again, this is not a MAP on the console, but the direction from the "google maps" app.

I have a 17 Ecoboost Premium with factory nav. I updated from ver 3.0 to 3.4.20021. There are no navigation aids in the display between the tach and speedo with either the factory nav or Android Auto.

Version 3.4 has a different look to it than 3.0, not better just different. I don't notice any difference in performance snd the only functional difference i have noticed is the ability to change the background theme.

I did the update to get the 2019 map update for the factory nav.
