Dealer needs to pony up the 8K @Zitrosounds is asking for the wheels to make the R whole.

Actually, it's a great idea. Tire kickers who don't want to spend the kind of money that the R is worth can have the option of parting with the wheels and save 5 grand.

Back to topic.... I'm wondering how Harold's car wound up on a Hyundai/VW used car lot? The car was said to be sold to an individual. Has anyone tried to call the dealership?

Maybe I'll do that today.

oh my! It hurts to see these pictures!!!! To clear the air and reiterate, I sold the car to an individual. I'd bet he had buyers remorse. I was asking 60k for the car and sold it for 55k without the wheels. I have a buyer for the wheels and will end up with a little more than I was asking for. This guy (buyer) did not care about the wheels or any of the memorabilia that I have for the car. It is still stored in a sealed box in my temp controlled garage for an owner that seeks this out.

For that price I'm assuming accident, motor replaced or lots of mods under the hood. Maybe flood.

Also its missing the R wheels.
The car was not modded other than the Borla cat back and tow hooks and most certainly no accidents or damage other than rock chips to the PPF.

Hate to be the sucker who buys that car. Maybe there's a chance they'll save the advertisement since it says CF wheels so when they find out it's just some cheap $1000 knockoffs, he can sue them.
HOLY SHIT! It also lists radio, a/c leather seats??????:cwl::cwl::cwl::cwl::cwl::explode:

Wow. It hurts to see it sitting on a Hyundai lot. Either way, thanks for the update Harold.

I don't understand the buyer buying an R without the wheels... should have just bought a new, regular, 350 and he'd be at the same price. Either way, good for the seller on getting what he wanted out of it.

Crap stickers? LOL it was a track car, duh!

Track car, hello!
Were you getting paid by those "sponsors' for said track car/advertising?

Tell us the truth, how are you liking the Veloster?

Track or not, why would you put those ugly stickers on a car, if you are not getting paid to do so... why?

Actually the R is in the VIN. If people just don't have the money to buy an R but want one, taking the wheels out of the equation is a good temporary solution. You can buy a set of CF wheels after the fact. I just threw that option out there for someone who has expressed interest in my TY R. I really don't want to sell, but I doubt I will have the garage I need for 4 FP cars by the time the 500 gets here.

Seriously? I got a discount on the wheels and the Ford performance stickers I got for free from Ford. So you could say I got paid for wearing the decals. I even got Carbon Revolutions to hook me up with their decal and the data file to make more.

Why would anyone buy a GT350 when they could have an R? See how stupid that sounds?

Men acting like boys?
