How much better do you think the 18+ will flow vs the 15-17?

Think this will make much difference with and EB supercharger with the stock throttle body?

Thanks!
No one has really tested it so it's hard to say. Bigger tubes allow more airflow and based on the 18's using it, I'd say it should be a pretty stable MAF which is the most important. I wouldn't expect a drastic increase, but there should be something there along with the great IAT's.

So does the 2018 stock air intake assembly fit well in the previous years from 15 to 17 I have 2017 GT but just a little worried that the assembly wont fit because of the 2018 bumber facelift so I think the air duct sits a little differently in 2018 and won't fit in a 2017???

The airbox is the exact same part #. It's the snorkel to the TB that's different and a different size. I'm currently running the setup with an 18 manifold.

So the tube diameter goes from 3.75 to 4" on the 18+? You guys think this is any benefit over a mishimoto intake tube? not sure what the diameter is on it but the center section of it is wider.

The 18+ intake also works on the 15-17 manifold with no tune requirement.

I asked Lund about it and they mentioned it works good and recommend an update. Perhaps they are squeezing more out of it than just slapping it on?

Well, it is a bigger tube but the MAF signal is smooth either way. Nothing was off about my car running on the stock tune with that bigger tube. There's always room to improve any stock tune and the additional size may help with that.

I’d be surprised if this was NOT needing a retune. When putting mine on I was told it needed a tune for it. Easy though - they have all the data for it.

This is wrong it needs a tune. I'll bet your LTFT's are running 15%+

The only issue I have found with the 18 on a 17 is the driver side PCV hose rubs on the heater hose. Best to use a TB spacer.

No CEL's, runs just fine. Already sold the car so I don't care, lol.

A tune required intake runs like crap if you don't tune it. There's a big difference.
