The kit was $5k last year?
Black Friday was indeed 5something…but I had JUST bought the car, and gave my accounting department my word that I wasn’t going to tweak anything for one year 😂

Damn that was a helluva deal then. Was it a tuner kit? I’ve never even seen GT whipple kits that low and I’ve been here since 2015 lol

@V00D00 have you rode in a 1300hp whipple GT500? Just wondering how the turbos feel in comparison. I typically don’t care for the slower ramp in power and lag, but my only turbo is a 76mm 4.6 so it’s likely 180* different.

That being said I’ve got my 3.8 and I started talking to HPJ about Motec, etc. the ability to control boost and flex fuel(motec) really make the turbos appealing. Just worried it’ll take the fun out of the car on the street.

Also wondering about the cams VCT. Most tend to lock but at 24-25# you might be able to keep VCT.
Amazing results! Looking forward to seeing it in action.

several factors.
Availability, additional 20 week wait for the blower
on a built engine turbos are they way to go for power
on motec dial in the curve for insane acceleration
never snap a belt
TT seems to be the obvious choice at that power level and beyond. Funny though, that you ended here given our past.

Congrats on the build... shit is beast for sure. Congrats on having a TT coyote car! lmao

Any plans for th400, or a proper manual? Or do you plan on staying with the DCT?

Impressive.. now lets see if it can beat Bryan Luna's 2017 Mustang GT 7.2 @ 190 mph on a stock PCM.
