I had problems with the stock cam covers as well. I ended up drilling them out after the tabs broke off. I ran a set of -10 fittings that bolt in for a while. Eventually I also went to the aluminum gt500 covers. They are a lot stronger and look nice but they easily get stained so keep them clean
