you def want sleeves at 1000 rwhp.

on the fuel system, our fore setups really are the way to go,

we offer a level one budget dual pump, but in a triple hat for those that want to upgrade later to rails and a third pump. saves losing an engine due to being out of fuel

I've never seen or herd of a 2.9 making a 1000 RWHP with out spray. Not saying it hasn't happened in never land on a unicorn with Jesus tuning it & I don't won't to poop on the OP's thread or dreams but somebody post a link please.
I'm not too far off.

There are a few people that have swapped the MT82 for the 6R80 in the 2015. It can be done for 3-4K depending on how much you pay for a used 6R80. I know in the past 11-14 mustangs people used F150 6R80 transmissions but I cannot confirm if there will work in the 2015 with paddle shifters.

I have 2.9 Gen 3 Whipple, Fore Fuel Sys, 10 Rib and RPG 5.2 Built Motor. You think I wont max the gen 3 to reach 1000rwhp

Will still has my car. I just want to see if its doable with my current setup. I am currently on the 3.25" pulley with ID1050x. Ive been down 4 months lol.

I'd say you run out of injector before you run out of blower. Assuming your on E85, injector dynamics fuel flow calculator (which is the best out there by the way) assuming .81 lambda says you'll run out of injector at less than 8k rpms.

I don't think you're gonna get to 1000 rear on a 5.0 with a 2.9 unless you spin to the moon. Just my opinion.

I think if you spin it to 8500 on a tiny pulley you could get there.....but according to ID, your injectors are basically gonna be wide open at around 7900 rpm (and .81 lambda). Now you could mess with the fuel trim, but that's a dangerous game.

Yes on e85. 132mm Tb as well.

thinking new tune w the id1700 and 150mm Tb. And smaller pulley?

i think you could get by with 1300’s
Why not a 20% lower ?
Not quite apples to apples but I have a 2.9 whipple /132 mm TB/E85/triple pumps/ID 1300’s on my RPG built voodoo and with the 3 inch upper /stock lower I am just just under 900 whp
Dyno may be conservative but that’s about the same as I made on my 18 with the Gen 5 whipple/132 mm TB /E85 and same 6 rib pulley

Lund tuned and he wonders if the diamond pistons are actually 12:1 compression as advertised .
I know torque is deliberately lower with the FP but he thinks it’s making power like a 10:1 compression motor .

I do think the pulley slipped up top as load and boost dropped a bit after 7500, so might have made more .

Both cars have stock manifolds /cat delete so long tube headers may be worth another 30-40 whp .

I just want to see how much I can make on the gen 3 and 5.2 predator rpg motor. So I won’t have to wait for the whipple 3.8 to come out lol.

I'm going to run 1300's which will be plenty up to nearly 1100 wheel (on E-85 with a gen 5 whipple). I personally wouldn't go 1700's because although there's room to grow, anything past the 1300's is where it gets pretty finicky and other problems (from what I've read). basically, bigger isn't ALWAYS better and injectors is one of those areas it's best to just run exactly what you need or slightly more.

Pully is your choice. I opted for a 10 rib because I don't like the idea of overdriving. 1) There's already enough concern around the mass at the crank (i'm not double keyed, one of the few upgrades I wish I'd done). 2) Overdriving overdrives everything else, it's just more wear and tear on your alternator, A/C, etc.

I'm chose to go 10 rib and little blower pulley rather than overdrive and moderate blower pulley. Not saying overdrive can't or doesn't work, I just preferred to improve belt grip and pulley down further than deal with more harmonic/mass issues and overdriving the other accessories. Not a huge deal, just my personal take on it. Not saying it won't work just fine with the OD and a pulley.

To give you some perspective, a GT350 just made 950 wheel with a Gen5 and OD on a 3.5" pulley. The equivalent ratios for me would be the stock size balancer and roughly a 3" pulley. I'm gonna pulley down to a 2.75" which should get me into 4 digits. (I have 5.2L, 2" primary longtubes and a 150 mm TB). If not, I'll just tap out and take what it makes. If I ever get really greedy I might overdrive later
