1000hp Bottom End?

Did this turn out to be true? Can the bottom end actually handle this much power? Just curious because of the cast pistons.

"Piston design has also been altered to create a stronger casting that uses a new ring package. Connecting rods used are straight from the BOSS302 program, and the valve reliefs in the piston are enlarged to accommodate the larger valves."

Nvm just did my own digging i guess this engine is a 1000hp engine even with the cast pistons...just was curious the cast pistons in the old 11-14 could handle 650 fine

I thought that the blocks failed when getting to 1000 rwhp.
Im not totally sure, maybe someone will chime in that knows more about the blocks in these cars.

I think it's a crapshoot at that level. Been there done that, mine lived. Others have not.....

I'm pretty sure they did some additional block reinforcement as well on the 2nd Gen coyote but I take it the pistons are not necessarily the weak point even though they are cast because they are using a stronger casting and I know hellion is running right around the 1000hp mark with theirs
