Question here is what do u guys think on this oil as it will great flow at cold start up and great protection once hot I know many are using a 5-50 oil but I’m all stock

Thoughts I have people telling me it’s gonna trash the motor yet I run 0-40 Mobil 1 in my 04 cobra with over 900whp hp

Oil really is personal preference. I'm an amsoil and mobile1 fan.

I ran 5-30 European blend in my 2015 GTPP which often saw 7800rpm shifts. No issues.

My 2018 got amsoil 5-30w signature series. But I only have about 900mi on this oil change.

Well I agree there I was also looking at the 5-40 Euro but I highly doubt a 0-40 is gonna hurt a thing I’ve used amsoil as well and Mobil 1 we do a lot of Porsche’s would u run the euro in the 18 over the 0-40

Don't take mechanical advice from these "people" because they obviously know next to nothing.

A 0w-40 engine oil will give you better flow at low temps than a 5w-20 oil, AND give you better protection at summer/higher temps. Best of both worlds.

I run Mobil 1 5w-40 diesel formulation in my '16GT. A "diesel" oil has a better detergent package and a higher zinc content than run-o-the-mill auto formulated oil, which is better for cold starts and better bearing/camshaft protection; but can theoretically can cause problems with catalytic converters. I have cat deletes, so that last part isn't a concern for me.

FORD recommends 5w-20 oil only help them meet federally mandated CAFE fuel efficiency requirements and to get buyers through the 5 year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty period. Outside of those two issues, FORD doesn't give a phuck.

IMHO, at minimum, you should be running a 5w-30 oil.

A 0w-40 oil would probably be ideal.

Well that was exactly my thoughts As well I’ve had my own repair shop for 13 years and then get these crazy ass replies cause these idiots work at ford thinking they know I used to work at ford as a tech but I totally agree I’m down to either a 5-40 Rotella T6 or the ultra platinum 0-40 I don’t road Race the car drag strip every know and then

On my gen 1 coyote I ran the Castrol eurpoean formula 0w-40 with excellent results. I plan on using the same oil in 2018.

See to me a 0-40 is about the best oil on the market in my book, I keep Rotella T6 5-40 and 0-40 Rotella T6 on the shelf
