Those numbers includes what is on dealer lots. Slim pickings to say the least.
I checked 3 dealers. First shows 0 Mustangs. Second shows 1 GT500 Third (2 dealers stock combined) shows 3 EB, 6 GT's and 1 GT500 You're right, still pretty slim out there. Glad I'm not trying to buy one now.

Dealers are stupid crazy on the Challengers. They want over $60k just for a snack pack.

Study Mustang production numbers by the year and then do some math.
Oh wow. This is the same thing that I tell directors and managers who seem to think that they can Moneyball everything. Not everything can be quantified and classified based on trending and previous years numbers.

The fact of the matter is for the last two years we have been in a different world. Previous years data is not as relevant as it was before.

sure but 2015-2019 production rates are indicative of what the assembly line COULD do when properly staffed and supplied. We don't know what part(s) or people are the ones holding up production rate. Problem it's like a group-ride/drive there is going to be a lot of rubber banding unless it's managed. And if a choke-point gets relieved it takes time for all the other pipelines to turn up their own production rates in a coordinated fashion.

But you're right about managers, too many think they just snap their fingers and parts and asses materialize.

dude, try to find a good low mile wrx or sti. its difficult. ya know why? cause people like them and keep them. same with these mustangs. apparently not the same with challengers and camaros, I suspect this is largely because the mustang is genuinely the best all around value.

I have a friend who is a Subaru fanatic. They are a special breed. And the WRX/STI's are a special car. Plus they last forever.

I'll be curious to see what happens when the car bubble pops. We're on the verge right now, just like the housing bubble in 2008. Many people had extra cash coming in 2020 and now are starting to fall behind. There will soon be a lot of used cars flooding the market and finally driving prices back down.
