Hi,

I've got a fitment question regarding the front axle. I currently run the following setup:

OZ Ultraleggera Matte Black 20x10 ET40 square (with 5mm spacers on the front) on 285/35/20 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2´s

i run roughly over 2 degrees of camber up front at the moment. The car is on KW Clubsport Coilovers with adjustable top mounts. The front tires just fit with minimal rubbing on max steering angle but otherwise its not an issue. While i am very satisfied with the handling and setup of the car, you´ll always end up looking for more performance (greater contact patch). To achieve that goal I originally planned for a complete GT350 frontend-conversion but that would not fit with my KB 2.8LC under the hood.

So while I was playing around with the tire size calculators, I basically ended up with the GT350 rim size up front: 19x10.5 ET30 with an 305/30/19 tire. My brakes are currently swapped to a GT350R-OEM-Setup so I gain some width on the back axle (6mm? Not sure atm) but fitment should not be an issue with a 19x10.5 ET56 also with a 305/30/19 Tire. Does anyone run those sizes on their S550 15-17 GT (especially up front)? The rim comes out roughly 11mm further, but the tire should be around 21mm less tall per sidewall which should negate the added width on max steering angle.

For the rims themselves I was looking into Vossen HF-3, as I basically want the look of the OEM-GT350-wheels without the hefty weight. By the looks of it they seem to have decent caliper clearance.

I´m thankful for any useful input or experiences in that direction.

Best regards,

Matthew

Go to an 11" wide all around for the 305/30r19.

19x11 +52 Apex EC-7 or SM-10 square all around with extended studs and 25 mm front spacer fits over your brakes.

Post above mentioned steering angle, any issues with fender clearance with the set up you mentioned? Would it work with -2° of camber or is -3° required?

It'd be similar, only at max lock and not really anything to do with camber (tires just so wide it lightly rubs the fender liner). You'd need a minimum of of -2 deg, but you'd want at least that much (more like -2.5 or more) for track/autocross use anyway.
