Hi all
As some of you may know, I organise a "local" meet for members of www.mustangforum.uk and the Mustang Owners Club. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month at a nice pub on the A4 between Newbury and Reading. It's about a 5 minute drive from Junction 12 on the M4.
We're a friendly bunch, so everyone is welcome. We usually get around 10 differing Mustangs turn up in the colder months, and anything up to 20-odd during the Summer.
We tend to roll up at the pub between 1100-1130hrs, and mingle outside and talk about......well, you guessed it, Mustangs! We then head in around midday for lunch. Depending on the weather, we'll often then go back outside for more chat, or just head off whenever suits.
We've had a couple of S550s so far. Most recent was last Saturday, when a gorgeous UK-spec Magnetic Grey car turned up. The owner, Simon, seems to like us, so should become a regular! We also had a lovely US-Spec car join us back in November and he should be coming along to a few more, too.
The other cars are a nice mix of S197s, SN95s and assorted 60's classics, with rare visits from a couple of 71-73 models. We also get a few 60's Galaxies and the odd Pontiac.
