Sweet!! Love that color. At the moment the only style we have 19x9 & 19x10.5 is the VMB5. You can check out our website to see pictures and the different style wheels we have. If you have any more questions feel free to contacts via email or phoneThose are nice looking wheels, Velgen. I've got a Ruby Red '15 GT that I'm gonna be lowering on Steeda springs in a few weeks, and then I want to go with a more aggressive wheel and tire set up.
Given she's Ruby Red, I'm thinking a grey, or gun metal color would look nice.
Any chance that the BM9s will be coming out in 19" x 9" and 19" x 10.5"? I like the look of the 20" but I think I want to stay with 19" so the tires have a little more rubber to them.
Thanks.

Thanks. I'll check out the VMB5s.Sweet!! Love that color. At the moment the only style we have 19x9 & 19x10.5 is the VMB5. You can check out our website to see pictures and the different style wheels we have. If you have any more questions feel free to contacts via email or phone![]()
Velgen's run a square 20x10.5 setup. I'm sure they'll shed more light on the subject shortly...That looks really good! What size tire and drop is on it? Has anyone run a square set up of 20x10.5, I wonder how that would look.
Thank you. It is lowered on BC Racing Coil-overs. Tire sizes are 255/35/20 & 295/35/20. Below is a link to our thread with pictures of VMB6 20x10.5 All AroundThat looks really good! What size tire and drop is on it? Has anyone run a square set up of 20x10.5, I wonder how that would look.

I think that the tire set up is 275/35 and 295/25 Nitto INVO's, and others are also running 275/35 and 305/35 set ups as well.Velgen -
As of now, your VMB9s are my choice. I like the look of the 20 inch wheels, and I'm assuming I want sacrifice too much in terms of handling and ride quality verus 19 inch wheels where the tires would be a bit "thicker."
I see in your posting for the set up above, which looks fantastic, the wheels are sporting 255/35/20s on the front, and 275/35/20s on the rear.
I believe this is the same size (other than being 20s and my Perilis are 255/40/19s and 275/40/19s) that I currently have on my stock PP 19 inch wheels. But your set up looks a good bit wider than my current PP set up. Is this the case?
To get a more aggressive/wider wheel and tire set up, I thought I'd also need to go with wider tires. From the pics above, I don't think I want anything wider.
Perhaps I don't know much about tires, but I would have thought the same size tires (255 and 275) would be the same width on both 19 and 20 inch wheels, but maybe the wider wheels result in a wider footprint or just a wider look for the tires? Maybe there's width difference due to the different middle numbers? That is, 35 versus 40. Thoughts?
Thanks.
Thanks. But in post #7, Velgen states that the tire sizes are 255/35/20s and 275/35/20s. Seems that the tires in the pics though would have to be a larger size. Like you say, maybe 275/35 up front and 305/35 in the rear.I think that the tire set up is 275/35 and 295/25 Nitto INVO's, and others are also running 275/35 and 305/35 set ups as well.
I love the look of the VMB9 and you will be a great compliment to your car. Personally, I think that the silver would be a great contrast on the Ruby Red.

I just want to make sure I get the right size tires for the Velgen VBM9s.
I'm with you, Khyber. I like the look of the tires on the Mustang in Velgen's pics above. Those look significantly wider than my current stock PP set up and that's the looking I'm looking for. Maybe even a tad narrower. Those can't be 255/275s, can they? Maybe Velgen mispoke in post #7. :cheers:you can run a variety of sizes. if you want the more meatier look go 275/305 or if you want the bigger wheel look with less rubber for 255/275. alot of us run the more meater setup because ya know american muscle, yadda yadda yadda i suppose.
i just like the more tire look personally especially on the rear
