I was finally able to pick up my car on Saturday, 71 days after placing my order. Only had time for a few quick pics before hitting the road to bring it home. A 200 mile drive, 100 of them in the rain. Needless to say it already needs a good hand wash, which it will get as soon as I see sunshine again.

My first impression when I sat in it was that there was no room inside. Then I noticed the driver's seat was raised to it's highest position. I'm 6'4" so after quite a bit of seat adjustment I was very comfortable.

All that time spent reading the manual paid off; quickly adjusted the automatic climate control, paired my cell phone, and lowered the top.

Was going to get a picture of it with my '88 GT but it refused to start. Possible dead fuel pump. Jealousy?

No tonneau caps (like everyone else) but the car was perfect. Love it!

I suspect my Firebird will rebel as soon as I bring my GT home, as well.

Update, the '88 Mustang is stored at my parents farm as I'm all out of parking space at my place. Yesterday dad stuck a key in it and it fired up immediately and ran fine. Guess it really was jealousy. I just flat out didn't want its picture taken with the new Mustang.

Maybe next time?

I have 3 Mustangs that will all be rebellious when the new one comes home!

1st, congrats on the new Mustang. She's a beauty!

I was going to drive the '93 LX to the dealer to do the order, but decided not to "tempt fate."
I have to laugh, had the same thing happen with the seat. Got in the car, thought, "This sux - way too high." Luckily I played with the electric seat before saying anything. The sales-dude said that their porter is very short and he parked the car after prep. :)
