I haven't seen much info out there on this bumper. Here are some pictures of it.

(not the final coat - but the PlastiDipped washer tank and end of the metal bumper beam)

Looks good, saw one in person the other day. I can't get over how it opens air going into the area between the bumper and the wheel liner, which isn't well designed to take high speed air coming from the front of the car (it's held in by terrible plastic clips). And you'd get all kinds of road debris/junk build up in that area over time. If this area were converted to use for brake cooling inlets, it'd make a lot of sense. The stock bumper has the fog light/turn signal bezel to block air and the area I'm speaking of is effectively squeaky clean in my car. I wish, though, I could have a OEM paint option that was this bumper's unpainted color exactly!

Same design as the aftermarket GT350 bumpers. Unless I'm not understanding the area you're describing.

You could definitely make this work for brake cooling. Some modifications to the fender liner or something.

I'm talking the area where the, for example, windshield wiper reservoir is. That area is closed off almost entirely by the stock bumper and behind that is the wheel well plastic liner that is only held in by plastic clips and tight fitment. I guess if it's not a problem, it's not a problem... just seems like I'd rather have that area closed off as there is no benefit to letting air in there at all, unless of course you modify the backside as an intake for break cooling.

wildcatgoal - maybe we have an aftermarket mod idea to come up with and manufacture! Haha.

Sorry to bring this post back up from the dead, lol.

Any updated pictures of this bumper painted and installed?
