TTT :) I'm impatient!

Curious - why did they disassemble part of the motor while it was in the bay, then removed the engine? Maybe they were hopeful to pull the heads without removing the motor, then realized that was a no-go?

@11secls1 any other details you can give us? Power goals? If doing a billet intake manifold are you going for dual throttle bodies? I'm wondering if staying with the same style of stock manifold will yield any appreciable gains if not changing the throttle body configuration. As said though, 400cfm is a ton of flow.

Right now I'm shooting for 600 WHP NA. We are going to port match the stock intake and use the stock cams for apples to apples comparison.

After that we will do cams and billet intake manifold and re-dyno.

Then the car is going to Fatfab for a one of a kind twin turbo setup.

11secls1 Do you think you'll get more benefit from the heads or cams? I'm sure the winning combo is both of course but just thinking about what the real bottleneck is here. I always thought in my mind 600 crank would be a great point to be or around there. Basically Huracan power levels.

We will find out. The car is going back together with ported heads and stock cams.

My dream NA build.

Mast 5.4 stroker crank.
Sleeved 5.2 block.
400+ cfm Voodoo heads
13:1 compression
Massive L&M racing custom spec cams
Cobra Jet intake manifold
E85.

That should make well over 600hp.

:headbang:
I think 620 crank would be the sweet spot for me. The caveat for me though: I do NOT want to run long tube headers and high flow/no cats. Sound restriction issues. But since late model Ford TIVCT doesn't lope its head off, dumping fuel and then puffing out a super lean overlap condition, I don't think it would be an issue.

I don't see any flow numbers for the stock heads . . . is that data available.
After my years of cylinder head development and working with Warren Johnson, I am curious as to what can be done with these heads.
