New - P-51 GT350 Badge - Design Thread

Decided to start a new thread as there seems to be increased interest in moving forward with some sort of P-51 GT350 based badge.

1) What P-51 Mustang logo's do you like? We will not be creating an original design for this but purchasing a commercial license for an existing vector graphic.

Is this one good?

2) What should the text on the bottom bar say? "P-51 Mustang", "Mustang", something else?

3) What color combinations are people interested in?

First image is perfect.

I like p-51 on top and mustang on bottom. Or nothing on top and p-51 on bottom.

Silver and Red or Black and Red.

Would like to see something a little more detailed on the plane though. Something like this maybe. If you reverse it, it will be flying from left to right same as on the badge samples.

I'd order 4 in blue and silver.

I like the first one (or preferably Sterlingstangs version) with P-51 on the bottom. Or P-51 Mustang on the bottom. I feel like writing on both top and bottom would be too much.

I like red and black.

Yeah, I like the checkerboard, if they can do it.

I'd either do red/black, or silver/black

I like this as well. But if I have to choose from the two images above, the first one would be better.

Of course P-51 should be prominent but I’d like to see how it would look on top with Mustang on the bottom or just P-51 on the bottom . Red and black would be cool as colors. I’d definitely buy at least two

Also, thanks for picking this up! I’m glad I could make a suggestion that could help make our cars more unique and honor the heritage of its true namesake.

Ok on the second link i like the top badge on the right. Maybe do just that badge and incorporate P-51 or Mustang into it somehow. I don’t have the ability to do something other than by hand or i would. Even the second one down is cool too

Not null and void, just that these guys are thinking of making the badges, so they are asking for input. The OP asked some questions.

Do people not like the choices the OP is suggesting? If that’s why all of a sudden the thread has gone silent, speak up! If you want something, and someone is willing to produce it, then you need to speak up and be supportive. I know I’m not the only one who wants this, I know this could be something all Mustang owners could buy. Speak up, let them know what you think you’d like to see and let’s get this moving!

I'd be interested in these if they would come in left and right versions to be put on the front fenders, replacing the 5.0 badges.
