thought would throw this up, this is a mate's S550 being in Australia we are right hand drive so nothing in the US fits, he has done all the turbo setup etc himself, tuned it (540rwhp/6psi on our 98-octane is equivalent to US 91octane, MT82), not bad for a 23yo kid. the MT82 was dropped in favour of a 'Glide, we are just gonna go out have a few hits on the stock motor, see what it can do, then put the MT82 back in.

yeah they are a custom manifold, being a right hand drive car, nothing made for the US etc Mustangs will fit. was a long process, was started in Feb, was mainly done in what free time was available, has been driving around the last 2 months or so, till went in for the 'Glide, was a long wait for the driveshaft to be made. all the fab work apart from the intercooler itself was done by Nick (car owner) we had done a few low mount LS Holden Commodores (Aussie Chevy SS/Pontiac G8) over the last 10 years, and they worked well so we figured would try it on the Mustang, had only seen the Hellion kit prior. it's 1-3/4 primaries, we tried to have a bit of length on them going into the log but it's pretty tight there :p we have Precision 6062's on it with V-Band .82 rear, it's quite responsive if need be we can get 6-7psi by 2700rpm, however we have adjusted the cams to have the power coming in a little slower by 3000-3200rpm

it has an engine!
not really, just may need to work around the dipstick, shifter cable etc. apart from that it's straight in
Thanks, that bit has been helpful. Ive been really having a hard time deciding between a built glide or built th400 with 2:10. I hear so many conflicting things. i know it depends on what your use will be and even still get just as much conflicting feedback. Im driving myself nuts trying to decide.

you always will hear conflicting, yet there's others proving great results to every choice :) end of the day it doesn't matter what box you choose you can make either work extremely well. the right converter and good power management is make or break with a turbo car.
