I love the way they try and find a car to match the Mustang against - and can't :-)
If they go to the A5/3series they have to add £10k to get anything close to same power of the Ecobeast and lose the chequebook if they try and match the GT.
The media and press seem to be staying away from the bang for your buck ratio - are they afraid of upsetting their German paymasters? Dare they criticise them for being 'expensive'.
The Mustang is a blue collar worker muscle car - affordable fun for those that don't want to spend £50k on a badge. It sits in it's own niche and is not afraid of what it is - a FORD!
I'm going to be over the moon when mine arrives later this year - no badge snobbery to worry about - yes, it's a Ford, and your point is?
Waves all round to the few other Pony jockeys that I will see in the west of Scotland.

The TT hardly fits the bill. I suspect every review is going to follow the same lines - here's a list of interesting things about the Mustang. And the competition? Well...it's very well made...

As far as I am concerned, there is no direct competition for this car in the UK...comparisons like that are pointless IMO...unless Chevrolet & Dodge start making the Camaro & Challenger in RHD then it will remain a niche market, and probably one that will grow rapidly even if it's only Mustangs.
Flat Rock are going to be busy! Still pinching myself that I will be one of the first

Have to agree with one of the comments re 'fanboy' stuff, BUT and, it's a fkin great BIG BUT, if you buy a TT, you're gonna have to look at it everyday and ask yourself 'why?'.

If you buy a Mustang, you're gonna be looking at it ALL DAY, EVERY DAY and get it!

What a weird review. If your going to compare a Stang to 2.0 TT and only consider twisty roads then the Ecoboost might be an option duh. You could point out the same handling differences between the TT and almost any large RWD GT car.

It has to be a joke review? The Mustang is better on nearly every count plus only hairdressers buy TTs!

That part isn't true - given the big depreciation and the massive volume of cars available in the UK used car market the TT is the UK's Mustang in many ways. Affordable performance 2+2.

Until later this year that is.
