Anyone else notice your front brakes 'sticking' after trying to go after car has set for a while? And then after a 5 to 10 minute drive you put the brakes on and it takes a little before they grab?

Mine also 'sticks' if the car sits for a few days and its cold. I think the front is the worst. I needs to be broken loose.
Don't know about braking, since I stop waaay different than when its warm.
I love those 1,5G stops.:headbang:

My brakes stick after one night of sitting.
I stop differently during the winter too. Even slowing down and braking lightly I feel as if there are very little braking going on. I don't feel the normal initial bite that the P/P brakes are known for.

Big brakes on the Mustang so a lot of area for things to rust after sitting for just a little while especially in the winter. Any car has this issue but usually regular cars are driven daily and brakes are smaller and should clean quicker. My daily has sticky brakes after just a few hours in the garage, but it's gone after the first stop from like 50 km/h.

Just make sure they are properly clean before doing anything spirited before you might actually need those brakes to stop quickly :)

Yes, mine do this too.

Even more so, now that its garaged overnight.

Makes a great 'crack' some mornings when I first move off.

Mine does exactly the same. Makes some hard cracks in the morning, when manoeuvring out of my garage. (almost daily)

mine as well, and makes a pop/klang sound every first time I break while in motion, even after about a 20min park.
My guess is the black metal plate, at-least its sound like it to me.

When I test drove a GT with the 6 pot brakes I noticed it takes noticably longer for them to warm up than the 4 pot brakes on my EcoBoost PP. And that was not even in winter conditions. I guess it's just the nature of the larger braking surface.
