Automatic Shifter Conversion

I did my own conversion and you can see the stock shifter height compared to stock. If anyone could explain why pictures turn sideways?

Looks really nice. Did the knob come like that or did you put the stripes your self?

Thanks. I have a prototype that I tested in the car and it works like stock except it sits much lower than stock and I can use any shift ball I want so I can change whenever I want.

Looks great!!. This is a mod I have planned to perform soon.

I like it but too pricey for me. I wish someone would just sell the mechanism without the ball for cheap.

Not quite what you are looking for but this seems to be the best option. They even do custom painted colors/designs I believe.

I ordered a custom knob from SpeedDawg and an adapter from SickSpeed. The shifter bezel is from Ford and the boot is custom from Redline Goods.

With this setup you need a spring under the boot per this thread:

Are you willing to provide details on how you did this or are you looking to sell in the future? I have been thinking of going with the WMGarage kit but i want to get a Anarchy Motive knob which isnt possible yet.

My setup is one off. I used the sickspeed adapter as my idea but had a completely new piece designed on a cnc. Everything about the sickspeed adapter is cheap. My new piece is much thicker and heavier and the slider inside is much beefier. I wanted the part above the boot to look like something the factory would do. The sickspeed one is basically a tube. The slider is very thin as well. Nobody here is willing to do what I did to make this thing work and it works perfectly. It also looks like a factory piece. The WM piece looks ok but it sits too tall for me and I want to be able to change knobs.
