Than you can buy the original RED Ford US sidemarkers, cheaper...

White ones; love to see them first on an Ingot before ordering. Dennis_ RED Vinyl is on now and must say I'm quiet happy with it.

Not sure it will stand a carwash...cross fingers

I want them but I am going to wait till I can buy from diode directly

Yeah, ordered the white ones right away...
White on white should look killer. Even if they don't light up, it's just so much better then the amber ones.

Euh, just cut the connector of or am I very naïve?

What do you mean with "cut the connector" ?

The design of the product is to be plug & play with the OEM wires on the car.

So without the bulb socket and the bulb connector it seems to be tricky for us...

I mean remove connector and connect red with red and black with black wires from license plate lights...to simple?

Think it's not that simple.

As we don't have a bulb socket, and you just have 2 wires going outside from the light, we'll have water that can go inside, and it's not good for the LEDs to swim into a lot of water ...

Yeah I think you're right. We will need to get the US connectors as well to make this work.

Damn yet another reason why I should have bought an import :frusty:

You need the side lights? Not even sure that is legal here (supposedly only on trucks buses etc)...

I could go for changing the amber to red though as it kind of sticks out - but I'm guessing that's a very easy mod

In your case I would replace them with smoked ones. Although it's probably a lot cheaper to just put some smoke vinyl on them.
