I always wax shiny plastic including the rear panel, headlites and taillites. They seem to atract less dust and are easier to clean.
AIr plus plastic = static electricity and dust will be its friend!!! It's like a balloon and your hair!!

Also since this thread I've CQuartz UK'd my Black Magic! Done for 2-3yrs!!! Leaves me waaaay more time for golf !! Didn't even work up a sweat!

Great job! Silly question but what's the difference between wax/polish/buff? I thought those terms were interchangeable. Apparently not.

Wax = put wax on car
Polish = rub substance to make it smoother/shinier (typically with a DA machine to ensure continuous even movement and the pad/substance combination gets rids of swirls quickly)
Buff = rub off any remaining substance residue (some will haze to let you know when the time to buff is, then you wipe it off and you get beautiful shiny paint)
