Hello all,

I have a 2015 gt M6 that I purchased used, with approximately 30k miles. After purchasing, and getting to drive the car for awhile, I noticed that it has some driveability issues. :frusty:

My guess is that it was tuned at some point in time, and most likely had some bolt-ons.

I went ahead and purchased a BAMA X4 tuner to help me datalog to see what's going on.

The car has the following intermittent problems:
-surging on throttle tip-in
-strong vibration at 1500rpm
-surging on WOT

Since i'm still a newb to tuning/datalogging, could someone have a look at the attached file? I logged it at 1500RPM hoping to see some sort of knocking, and have a look at the timing.

Can't view the log on iPad, but have you looked at the cam movements?

I have not. What specific parameters should be logged? What should I be looking for? Example: "under normal conditions, cam movements should be between X and Y" ?

Nothing special going on in that 1,500 hold log. Need more details. You say you think it used to have some mods. Stock airbox? Might be worth taking to a dealership and reflashing back to stock if factory airbox, and cats.

the vehicle is currently stock. I purchased it with an aftermarket catback, but now it has a stock catback (not that it really matters).

Do you believe the car is currently tuned?

It's entirely possible. Take it to dealership with said concerns. They will either tell you its tuned, or look into the drievability probs.

I'll run it up there and ask them to reflash my ECU. They are aware of the driveability problems and are claiming that the WOT surging is not present, and that the intermittent surging on throttle tip-in is "normal".

attached is another log. There seems to be a large difference in bank1 and bank2 o2 sensors, and discontinuities in the maf voltage. See bank1 and bank2 comparison snapshot that has been attached.

Anyone have any thoughts?
