Tuned the car during the summer, saw 10psi on P1sc. Did cat deletes a few weeks and now did 2 logged pulls to 7k and seeing about 7.5ish psi. Can talk thru text and can email log. Would like to see if there’s anything obvious on logs.

create datazap account and load logs there. nice links will be provided to post them here. BTW when deleting the cats you will "lose" boost. less restriction. Still moving the same or prob more cfm, just not reading as boost psi. Boost is is simply the backpressure of air that can't be consumed by the engine.

Just revved a little higher and saw 8.5 but didn’t log it. Will make an account when I get home. Have never trusted the poo-flo bov. Lol

How are you reading boost? Log looks really good. I wouldn't get too hung up on the boost number. sooooo many people do.... many factors make boost readings fluctuate a bit. IE: restrictions like removing the cats, cam timing changing based on environmental changes, and oh ya environmental changes. Now if it suddenly drops 50% boost sure then be concerned.

Boost box and Roush mechanical. I’m still aiming at swapping my proflo for a turbosmart 50mm bov.

Normal to see boost drop after headers due to less restriction.

What are you using to log boost?

Cat deletes don't change boost. (been there done that)

I am willing to bet you have three things leading to your error in PSI.
1) the method of whats logging it, and how the sensor reads
2) weather.. ambient pressure and temp, effect boost a little.
3) Max RPM, or maybe belt tension, dirty filter, etc.

Boost box and mechanical Roush. I looked at previous logs from summer and difference is minimal, half psi at same RPMs. Filters are ok and belt is solid. The bov taps off of the vacuum like that comes from the catch can. Not sure if catch can in the mix is affecting the bov operation. I will likely switch to a bullet style or turbosmart since I’m looking to pulley down. We’ll see how she does at the track today.

Why is your BOV tied into your catch can?!?!?!?!

That is 100% wrong, and would mean your BOV isn't working correctly.

The BOV needs to have a nice line going straight to your vacuum block, just like we place in the owners manual.

I’d have to look at it again with good light. Don’t quote me on it just yet.
