Velcro holds it on at various places, that's both pieces. And good measurements? Well, . . . both pieces aren't square. They are both contoured a little differently, so to make it look good you gotta spend some time taking various measurements to get the curves right. I'd give you all the measurements you want, but it would be kinda hard to explain the curves. I could give you a general width and length, but you would have to do the trial and error part to get the curves to fit nice and not look like you were drunk when you did it.

Made my own rear seat delete

After my last vacation away I wanted to better utilize the back space,
we don't have anything ready made in Aus so I made my own.
Had to be functional and sturdy, and not look out of place,
easily reversible should the need arise.

I removed the front seats and removed the rear seat and back.
Made a template from cardboard.
fabricated 2 brackets to mounted the base at the front, and 2 Z brackets for the rear mount.
I used 2 x 25mm x 50mm super magnets to hold the 2 fold down back sections in place.
the base is 12mm marine ply and the back 9mm marine ply
Covered them in rubber backed kitchen carpet ( almost looks like the same texture as the OEM carpet.) used contact adhesive,
and Piano hinge so the split back can fold down.

There was no weight reduction from the OEM seats in case you were wondering.

Pretty happy the way it turned out
