is X-Plan really a good deal...I recently got a quote with x-Plan for a mustang GT 51 ish k im getting ready to order and it was ok, but I wasnt blown away.
Maybe on a Focus RS, but not on Mustangs. The price I paid is way below X Plan Pricing.

It's about the 'dealer invoice' price +100-200. They are still making money off of you, but it locks their bullshit fees to a cap of $100, and you don't have to play the haggle game.

You can also stack incentives, so you should get x-plain + the $1,500 or $2,000 that's going on right now, depending on where you are.

Right, I wonder if some of these "killer" deals include the incentives. I cant find anyone around here that will give you 7K off a Mustang even in stock.

X-Plan for the one I am ordering is $2600 off

I get the incentive of $1500 on top of that

I get military for $500, but was told it is done different now, we apply and ford pays us the $500.

But basically Im looking at $4600 and no dicking around. Haggling for 1K is a waste of my time IMHO, but if we were talking 3K then Im in.

They pretty much always include incentives, and sometimes (most times) the conditional incentives that not everyone is eligible for. If you walk into a dealer that advertises $5k off, they're not going to add X-plan's benefits, and you might find out that they included the military/college/first responder ($500 ea) rebates where you may not apply for anything of them. You can try to fight them on that, but yeah, not worth my blood pressure.

how did you manage that?
Found the best price on the internet at Koons Baltimore and challenged local dealerships to meet it. And, to be fair, had an extremely connected friend make a call on my behalf.

Some members say they are stacking random incentives that nobody qualifies for. I don't have any real info.

....and you'd be wasting time and money. I stopped in personally and their WOW prices include every available incentive which you probably don't qualify for, then they add in $699 dealer fees +. In the end their price on a special order wasn't much different than my local dealer (which was essentially invoice price). And I think a lot of people who are posting that they got $8K off the car ended up getting a poor trade, high-rate finanacing, or got talked into buying dealer add on like nitrogen fill, scotch guard, etc.
